We currently have two Spanish Mastins looking for their forever homes.


Bonny (female, will turn 6 in October) and Orlando (male, age 6) are available for adoption. Both families have experienced a change of circumstances that resulted in both dogs needing to find new homes.

Bonny weighs around 50kg, has lived with cats in the past and gets on with other dogs. She is an extremely affectionate girl, she loves attention and walks well on a lead. Bonny loves going in the car and is fully house trained. Bonny is living with her current owners until we can find her a new home. Bonny travelled to the UK from Spain in 2022.

Orlando is a 6 year old male Spanish Mastin. He is approximately 64kg and gaining. He is a very sweet big guy who loves cuddles and loves to play. He gets on very well with cats, horses and livestock. He has shown no issues with other dogs while here with us on foster. He can however be a little warry of strange men so needs a slow careful introduction but this is really improving as time goes on. Due to Orlandos size and breed we are looking for someone with livestock guardian breed knowledge and experience and although he absolutely adores children we would be looking for a home with no young children where he is preferably the only dog or possibly neutered female companion.

He walks very well on his leash with the use of a halti. His recall is not the best however this generally is a characteristic of the breed they are happy as long as you are in their line of sight.

Orlando is an entire male however in order to test how castration would affect him we decided to get him the hormone implant (chemical castration) which lasts around 6 months. He has taken to it with no adverse side effects so can therefore safely be neutered once the hormone implant wears off which is something we would be happy to help with. He has had a full health check and is a healthy boy.

Spanish Mastin’s are large Livestock Guardian dogs, we are looking for an experienced homes for these dogs due to their breed.
